Abraham Lincoln Washington, Jr., departed this life at Southeast War Veterans Home on Monday, September 21, 2015 at the age of 62. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Avondale, LA. Abraham was a graduate of Fortier High School and received a Doctorate of Pharmacy Degree in 1991 from Xavier University. He served his country as a member of the U. S. Marine Corps. Beloved husband of Valinicia "Renee" Washington. Loving father of Eric Washington and Sorielle Vance (LeeRoyal) Francis. Grandfather of Travis Rene Vance, Nathaniel Evans, Jr., Malyah S. Miller, Kara Washington and Erykah Washington. Son of the late Abraham Lincoln Washington, Sr., and Barbara Brown Pepp. Stepson of James Pepp, Sr. Grandson of the late Mary M. Washington and LB Washington. Brother of Lionel Washington and the late James "Poochie" Pepp, Jr.; also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.
