Ora Mae Martin

February 4, 1932 — September 27, 2015

Ora Mae Martin, a homemaker, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Sunday, September 27, 2015 at East Jefferson General Hospital at the age of 83. She was a native of Gibson, La. and a resident of Harvey, La. Loving wife of the late Daniel Martin. Devoted mother of Christine (Warren) Smith, Dianne (James) Conley, Cynthia Martin, Leroy Allen, Jr. and the late Regina and Marshall Allen. Beloved daughter of the late Herman and Rosemary Bogen. Sister of the late Freddie and John Bogen; also survived by 6 brothers, 5 sisters, 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends, also pastors, officers, an members of Israel Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Home Going Celebration at Israel Baptist Church 1612 Esther St. Harvey, La. on Saturday October 3, 2015 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Johnny McKinnies, officiating Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
