Joycelyn Ann Buchanan Joycelyn Ann Buchanan of New Orleans, LA was born August 21, 1947 to the late Rose Buchanan and George Walker, Jr. She made her transition from this world at Jo Ellen Smith Living Center to be with her heavenly Father on Saturday, September 26, 2015. A private viewing for the family and close friends was held at Davis Mortuary Service, Inc. Gretna, LA. Joycelyn leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Sabrina along with her son-in-law Percill Griffin; daugher-in-law Jennifer Buchanan; four siblings, Gloria Evans, Carmen Jenkins, Earl Mercadel and Stacey Glover; six grandchildren who adored their "Nannie", Darioen, Diondre, Dominik, Jovonte, Kirasten and Taylor Buchanan; her devoted best friend of forty years Bertha Brown; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Joycelyn is preceded in death by her daughter Shoantell Cherie and son Christopher Arthur Shaw Buchanan; granddaughters Kayla Shaw and Taylin Kaira Buchanan. She will be sadly missed by all. .
