Lawrence "Sweet" Johnson, Jr., age 55, departed this life on Tuesday, September 29, 2015. Beloved son of Barbara Cook Johnson and the late Lawrence Johnson, Sr. He was a native and lifelong resident of Algiers, LA. Brother of the late Daryll Johnson and Diane Paige. Grandson of the late Ernest and Matilda Butler Cook, Dood and Della J. Johnson. Uncle of Eric Parker, Myiesha, Da'jonae and Destiny Paige and the late Myshell and Mikeshell Paige; also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also officers, and members of Second Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Second Baptist Church, 2836 Sullen Place, Algiers, LA on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at 10:00a.m. Viewing will be held from 8:00a.m.-9:50a.m. ONLY at the above named church.
