Lorraine Baptiste

Lorraine Yvonne Francois Baptiste peacefully entered into eternal rest at West Jefferson Medical Center on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at the age of 86. She was a native of Gretna, LA and a longtime resident of Marrero, LA. Beloved wife of the late Willis Ray Baptiste, Sr. Loving mother of Diane (Joe) Fennidy, Adrienne B. Jones, Willis Ray (Ann) Baptiste, Jr., Arcenia B. Whitten, Reginald Baptiste, Renee (Carl) Castille, Cornell Baptiste and the late Kelvin, Valerie and Debra Baptiste. Daughter of the late Nathaniel Francois and Ora Mae Miller. Sister of Gwendolyn Wilson and the late Larry Francois; also survived by 15 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Regular B.C., Evening Star B.C., Second Zion B. C., Mt. Calvary Church, Greater St. Mary B. C., Morning Star M. B. C., Mt. Zion B. C., Second Bethlehem B. C. and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Regular Baptist Church, 901 Fifth St. Gretna, LA on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 10:00a.m. Pastor T. A.
