Betty G. Morvant

Betty Graver Morvant passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at the age of 83. Beloved wife of the late Jesse James Morvant, Sr. She was a native of Gretna, LA and a resident of Lafitte, LA. Daughter of the late George and Violet Graver. Mother of Jesse James (Brenda) Morvant, Jr., James Morvant, Ricke (Judy) Morvant, Marie (Elton) Matherne, Kevin (April) Morvant and the late Floyd and Kenneth Morvant. Loving sister of the late Mayola "Nanny" Graver. Mother-in-law of Patti Morvant. Grandmother of Lisa (Dave) Marcel, Steve (Christy) Morvant, Christy Phillips, Elton Matherne III, Casey Morvant, Brent Matherne, Rusty (Catelyn) Matherne, Joycelyn (Dylan) Matherne, Brittany Morvant and Kevin Morvant, Jr. Great grandmother of of Miranda Martin, Tyler Marcel, Mackenzie Matherne, Jacob Phillips, Tabitha Phillips, Johnny Phillips, Carter Matherne, Peyton Matherne, Nathan Matherne, Baileigh Morvant and Dawson Matherne. Extended great grandmother of Nicholas, Mandy and Prim Dinet; also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.
