Clara Vance Mosely, a retired cook, peacefully entered into eternal rest at West Jefferson Medical Center on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at the age of 85. She was a native of Carpenter, Ms and a resident of Marrero, LA. Beloved wife of the late Ike Mosley. Devoted mother of Jerald A. (Charity) Brown, Stanley C. Brown and Charlie S. Brown. Daughter of the late Alce and Dora Vance. Sister of Carrie D. Neal and the late Smith Vance, Albert C. Vance, Samuel Vance, Mildred Houston and Lyla Divinity; also survived by 19 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Vineyard Ministries, New Salem Church of Christ Holiness and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at New Salem Church of Christ Holiness, 1540 Mansfield Ave. Marrero, LA on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 10:00a.m. Elder George Taylor, host pastor; Elder Michael Womack of Seven Star Baptist Church of Utica, MS officiating Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
