Ernestine White Sumner

Ernestine Ledonia White Sumner was called home to be with her heavenly Father on Wednesday, November 4, 2015, at the age of 81. She was a native of Hohen Solms, LA and resident of Gretna, LA. Wife of the late Van Sumner, Sr. Loving mother to Vanessa Sumner Custard, Angela Sumner (Henry) Murray, Van "Jim" Sumner Jr., Andrew Jules "AJ" Sumner, Sr., Douglas Paul Sumner, Dwayne Michael Sumner, and the late Timothy Warren Sumner and Arthur Joseph Sumner. Loving daughter of the late Lillian and Andrew White. Sister of Douglas White, Thelma White Triggs, and Lillian White Gray, also survived by 28 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends Special thanks to the staffs of Dr. Libby Ellent, West Jefferson Cardiology and Hospice Compassus.
