Albertha “Berta Girl” Harrison Davis answered her master’s call on Friday, November 13, 2015 at the age of 87. She was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Beloved mother of Ray (Sonita) Davis, Jr., Michael (Sandra) Davis, Keith Davis, Ronald Davis, Donna (Lance) Brown, and Sandra Jean Davis. Daughter of the late Samuel, Sr. and Johanna Harrison. Sister of the late Samuel Harrison, Jr., Charles Harrison, Sr., Thomas Hyde, Beatrice Robertson, and Rose Mary Francis. Godmother of Terry Jackson, also survived by 18 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren, 12 great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in law, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Fischer Community Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Fischer Community Church 1737 L B Landry Ave. Algiers, LA . on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 11:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
