Sim Nevels, Jr.

Sim Nevels Jr. departed this life on Monday, November 23, 2015. He was a U. S. Army Veteran, and retired from Amtrak, after working in the railroad industry for over 30 years.   Devoted father of Shandel, Sherry and Marvin Nevels. Son of the late Johanna Nevels and Sim Nevels, Sr. Grandfather of Ireana Nevels, Quentin Nevels, Reniqui Martinez, Dylan Martinez, Blake Nevels, Adrienne Nevels and Joshua Sodipo. Brother of Laura Nevels, Alice Nevels, Catherine Nevels, Larry Nevels and the late Isaac Nevels, Sr., Mary Jason, Pearl Morris and Ernest Nevels; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends. Age: 72 years, a native and resident of Algiers, La.
