Marie Love Phillips

Marie Consetta Love Phillips, entered into eternal rest on Monday, November 23, 2015 at the age of 52. She was a native New Orleans, LA, a former resident of Marrero, LA and presently residing in LaPlace, LA. Affectionately known to family and friends as “Tina”, she was the first lady of Covenant Bible Fellowship. Beloved wife of Pastor Rene’Warren Phillips. Mother of Leah Consetta Phillips (Sean) Bailey, Rachel Marie (Myles) Martin, and Jared Rene’ Phillips. Daughter of C. P. (Lainey) Love and Mary Ann Love. Granddaughter of the late John and Edith Bartholomew and Roy and Corine Love. Sister of Duane Love, Melissa (Daniel) Johnson, Deandria Love, Edith Ann Love, Eden (Brandon) Presco, Melody Reff, April Love, Autumn Love and Adam Love. Niece of Earnest (Nellie) Bartholomew, Matthew Bartholomew, Lois Bartholomew Dumas, Melba Bartholomew, Judith Bartholomew Jackson, Connie Bartholomew and the late David Bartholomew and Arthur Bartholomew. Daughter in law of Warren C. (Martha) Phillips and Ruby Minor Jones. Aunt of the late Adam Johnson. Sister in law of Kevin Phillips and the late Shannon Marie Phillips. Cousin of the late Tony Bartholomew, also survived by a host of great aunts, great uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Covenant Bible Fellowship, Greater Mt. Calvary Church, and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Greater Mt. Calvary Church 1600 Westwood Dr. Marrero, LA on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Terry Gullage, Sr. Officiating Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
