Florence (Teene) Sullen departed this life at Ochsner Foundation Hospital on Saturday, November 21, 2015. Former wife of Arthur Black, Jr. Beloved mother of Trekina Monique Black (Angel) Chavez, Joshua, Travey, Leonard, and Steve Black. Daughter of Joseph Jones and the late Florence Sullen. Granddaughter of the late Odeal (Hurite) Sullen and Velma ((Joseph) Jones, Sr. Sister of Cassandra, Cheryl, Darlene, and Kevin Sullen, Adeline (Joel) Taylor, Joanna Modacure, Zachuary Jones, and the late Patricia Sullen, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Age: 58 years a native of Oakville, LA. and a resident of Marrero, LA. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, members of Anointed Word Ministries of La., Morning Star B.C., New Zion B.C., Oakville M.B.C. and all neighboring churches; employees of Grand Elevator, BP Oil, John Mandeville, Barriere Construction, First Student, Avondale Shipyard, Boomtown Casino, Wal-Mart Behrman-Laplaco , Plaquemine Parish School, Envoy Airlines (Louis Armstrong Airport), The Worthing Companies, and Cortland Partners and are invited to attend the funeral service at Davis Mortuary Service 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA. on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at 10:00a.m. Rev.
