Alvia M. Williams

Alvia Mamie Williams entered into eternal rest on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at age 74. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and resident of Prairieville, LA. Mother of Cynthia (Joe), Samuel Sr. ( Shelita), Joseph Sr. (Shanta), Angela (René), Shannon (Jason),  Val, and Jules Sr. Daughter of the late Frank Williams and Selena Casby Williams. Sister of Mary Louise, Shirley Mae, Mary Cecilia, Rosemary, Frank, Samuel, Gilbert and the late Ralph Williams and Barbara Williams Justin, also survived by her 22 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family of Alvia Williams extend their greatest gratitude to her loving caregivers at St. Claire Manor Nursing Home and the Hospice of Baton Rouge Family.
