Corrine Henry Broussard

Corrine Henry-Noel Broussard entered into eternal rest on Monday, November 30, 2015 in Harbor City, CA at the age of 75. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a longtime resident of Los Angeles, CA.   Corrine was a retired employee of the United States Postal Service. After retiring she found great pleasure working as a crossing guard for the City of Carson. Loving mother of Darlene Penny Noel and Percy Lance Noel. Grandmother of Terrell, Taneshi, Terron and Joshua Noel. Daughter of the late Clarence and Ernestine Harrison-Henry. Granddaughter of the late Lizzie Jackson-Harrison, Andrew Harrison, John Henry and Corrine Morris-Anderson. Siser of Lizzie Charles, Clarence “Frogman” Henry, Ernestine (Dood) Johnson, John (Lela) Henry, Huey Madison, Sr. and the late Doris Madison. Niece of Charles Victor, Jr. Godmother of Hammond Charles, Jr., John Dwayne Henry and her niece Mildred “Marie” Etienne. Devoted friend of Elsie Johnson- Rose, Vivian Price-Byes, and Linda Hunter; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Asbury United Methodist Church, Second Baptist Church, Christ of Judson Baptist Church of Carson, CA and all neighboring churches; members of L. B. Landry Class of ’58 are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Asbury United Methodist Church, 2725 Ernest St., New Orleans, LA on Saturday, December 12, 2013 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
