Shelita Scott

Shelita Scott, a former switch board operator of Marrero, La., entered into eternal rest at her residence on Friday, December 4, 2015 at the age of 53. She was a native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Marrero, La. Shelita was an alumna of John Ehret High School, class of 1980. Beloved daughter of Arthur R. Scotts, Sr. and Betty A. Johnson. Granddaughter of the late Hillary, Jr. and Pauline Palmer Mitchell, Roger Scott, and Mary Louise Wright Walker. Sister of Arthur R.(Tonietta) Scott, Jr., Shenell O. Scott, Denisha Scott, and the late Arnold “Arntay” Scott, and Denell Marie Scott, also survived by 8 aunts and uncles, 3 great aunts and uncles, 11 nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of New Zion Christian Family Worship Center, Greater St. John Baptist Church, and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at New Zion Christian Family Worship Center 5186 Lucille Dr. Crown Point, La. on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will be held from 9:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
