Walker I Pleasant

Walker I. Pleasant peacefully departed this life on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at Louisiana Continuing Care Hospital at the age of 96. He was native of Winnsboro, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA.   Loving father of Sarah Pleasant (Everet)       Hughes, Leeonell Donaldson, and Walter Pleasant, Jr. Brother of Jethro Pleasant and Drucilla Barnes; also survived by 7 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 230 MONROE ST. GRETNA , LA on Monday, December 14, 2015 at 9:30a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.
