Devoted father of Kenneth Scott, Kendrick Gould, Rohene Keith, Derrick Benn, Kantrice Lemon, Chakahan Sparkman, Dominique Sparkman, Ebony Sparkman and Nataesha Wilson . Son of the late Lawrence Francois and Dorothy Mae Matthews. Brother of David Matthews Sr., Troy Matthews, Shawn Matthews, Pamela Matthews Simeon, Donna Matthews, Nyra Matthews, Adrian Matthews and Roslyn Roctee Matthews. Grandfather of the late Johnnie Jackson III. Also survived by 36 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 60 years a native and resident of New Orleans, La.
