Lillie Mae Benjamin, age 79, departed this life on Monday, December 7, 2015 at her residence. She was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Lillie was a foster grandparent for over 17 years with Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Benjamin. Loving mother of Eric Perry, Sr., Tyrone Perry, Sr., Antoinette Hamilton and Delilah Forbes. Daughter of The late Joseph Morris, Sr. and Adele G. Morris. Sister of Shirley Mae DeMarigny and the late Joseph Morris, Jr.; also survived by 9 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 230 MONROE ST. GRETNA, LA on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time.
