Claudette Williams

Claudette McClain Williams, a retired educator of the Jefferson Parish School System, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at the age of 60. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA.   Claudette was a graduate of SUNO and a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority. Loving wife of Willie C. Williams. Devoted mother of D’Artagnan Williams. Daughter of Wilhelmenia Howard and the late Demas McClain. Granddaughter of the late Delilah and Flowers Dillon, and Annie and Will McClain. Sister of Luther McClain, Anthony McClain, Kent McClain, Paulette Francois, Jennifer McClain and Marilyn McClain; also survived by 3 grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of First Free Mission Baptist Church and all neighboring churches; employees of Jefferson Parish School Board, New Orleans Council on Aging, and Treme Cultural Center are invited to attend the Funeral Service at First Free Mission Baptist Church, 426 Lamarque St. Algiers, LA on Friday, December 18, 2015 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Johnny Johnson, III officiating Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
