Raymond “Danny” Joseph Lemieux, Sr., peacefully entered into eternal rest at his residence on Friday, December 18, 2015 at the age of 78. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Raymond was a retired operator of Celotex Corporation. Loving husband of Essie Stewart Lemieux. Devoted father of Dehon Lemieux Caillier, Raymond J. Lemieux, Jr. and the late Corliss Lemieux Evans. Son of the late Jack John Lemieux and Gladys Phillips Lemieux. Grandson of the late John and Agnes Lemieux and Joseph and Liza Phillips. Brother of the late Benjamin, Lionel J., and Arthur Lemieux; also survived by 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also priest and parishioners of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 455 Ames Blvd. Marrero, LA on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at 10:00a.m. Father Eugene F.
