            Eric Pierre entered into eternal rest on Sunday, December 27, 2015 at 1:30 A.M. at his residence. He was a floral designer for Eloquent Flowers, Le Fleur Flowers and Hunt Flowers. Son of the late Percy Pierre, Sr. and Louise London Pierre. Brother of Cheryl A. Smith, Danette Pierre, Tanya L. Pierre, Paulette Pierre, and Percy Pierre, Jr. Uncle of Rev. Norman Duhon Smith, III and Natacha (Kenneth) Shears. Great-uncle of India L. Paige and Kolby Shears. Nephew of Gloria London Johnson, Edward (late Josie) Pierre, Claude (Ella) Pierre,Sr., Bernard (Angelica) Pierre, Florence P. (late Caesar) Ewens, Janet P. (late Theodore) Williams and Ethel (late Amos) Sandolph. Cousin of Darren A. (Blanche) Johnson of Swansea, IL and Brain K. (Teran) Johnson. Godson of Barbara Poston of Los Angeles, CA., also survived by numerous other relatives and close friends. Age: 61 a native of Harvey, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Relatives and friends of family also pastors, officers, and members of Evening Star Missionary Baptist Church, Israel Baptist Church, Little Zion Baptist Church #3 of Marrero, and neighboring churches; employees of West Jefferson High School, Landry-Walker High School, Plaquemine Parish School System, Staff of Heart of Hospice, and members of Men and Ladies Lions of Harvey are invited to attend the Worship Celebration at Israel Baptist Church 1612 Esther St. Harvey, LA. on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at 10:00 A. M. Rev. Dr. Johnny McKinnies host-Pastor, Rev. Keith Paul Stewman officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30 a. m. until service time at the above named church.

            Interment: Evening Star Cemetery # 2, Harvey LA.
