Eliot Joseph Keller

Eliot Joseph Keller entered into eternal rest at his residence on Sunday, January 3, 2016 at 12:20p.m. at the age of 85. He was a native of Vacherie, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Beloved husband of Gloria Keller. Devoted father of Alius Keller, Sr., Stanford Keller, Sr., Margaret Keller, Karen (Darryl) Cotton, and Vernell Keller. Son of the late Pierre Joseph and Althea Osborne Keller. Brother of Victor (Barbara) Keller, Cecile Mundy, and the late Landry, Armond, Rene, and Joseph Keller, and Irene Lumas and Corine Love, also survived by 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 4 sisters in law , 3 brothers in law, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also priest and parishioners of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic and pastors, officers, and members of New Zion B.C., Fulfilling the Gospel Ministries, Int’l, Bethany Church, and neighboring churches; employees of West Jefferson Medical Center, Ochsner Medical Center, Egan Home Health and Hospice, Wynhoven Skilled Nursing Facility, Tulane University Medical Group, Jefferson Parish Schools, Avondale Shipyard, and LA State Board of Cosmetology are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph The Worker Catholic Church on Saturday January 9, 2016 at 10:00a.m. Father Eugene Jacques Celebrant Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m., Recitation of Rosary at 8:30a.m. and Celebration of Life at 9:30a.m. Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery- Avondale, LA.
