Albert Joseph Richard

Albert Joseph Richard, a Locomotive Engineer, entered into eternal rest at West Jefferson Medical Center on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at the age of 76. He was a native and resident of Marrero, LA.

Beloved husband of Patricia Richard. Father of Joan Richard Smith, Eric J. Richard, Sr., Judy Richard Walker, Jamie Richard, and Dr. Alyce Michelle Richard. Son of the late Hardy Richard, Sr. and Alice LaSalle. Grandson of the late Celest Richard and Joseph Richard.  Brother of Hardy Richard, Jr., Hayward LaSalle, and the late Warren Richard, also survived by 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of St. Joseph Missionary Baptist Church and all neighboring churches; employees of Continental Grain Company, Union Pacific Railroad, and members of New Tuscan # 5 (Masonic Order PHA) are invited to attend the funeral service at St. Joseph Missionary Baptist Church 236 Robinson Ave. Marrero, LA. on Friday, January 8, 2016 at 10:00a.m.

Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church.

Interment: St. Joseph Cemetery- Marrero, LA.
