Julie Lee Jefferson

Julie Jefferson peacefully entered her heavenly home on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at the age of 65.

She was a native of Ferriday, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. Beloved mother of Tammie (Willie) Jackson, Anthony, Bryan (Mel), Tina (Josh), Jeremy (Zoila) and Emerson (Florence) Jefferson. Devoted daughter of Celeste Scott Jefferson and the late Douglas Jefferson, Sr. Sister of Celeste (Kenneth) Jackson, Rosalie Scott, Douglas Jefferson, Sr. and the late Mollie McElveen. Sister in law of Larry McElveen, Sr., also survived by 17 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 9 aunts, 2 uncles, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.  

Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Mt. Olive Baptist Church, St. Joseph Missionary Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Mt. Olive Baptist Church 1701 Estalote St. Harvey, LA on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 12:00p.m.

Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery- Avondale, LA
