Albert Lee Andrews, Jr.

Albert “Big Al” Lee Andrews, Jr., departed this life at Tulane Medical Center on Sunday, January 10, 2016 at the age of 47. He was a native of Marrero, LA and a resident of Avondale, LA. Albert was a retired supervisor of the Westwego Housing Authority. Loving son of Ceola Mitchell and the late Albert Lee Andrews, Sr. Stepson of the late Phillip Mitchell. Father of Keon, Keondra and Korren Andrews. Brother of Kenny Lee Dorsey. Godfather of Tayaun Brim; also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Macedonia Baptist Church, New Home Ministries of Algiers, Rock of Ages Baptist Church and all neighboring churches; employees of Westwego Housing Authority and members of Prince Hall Masons are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Rock of Ages Baptist Church, 6533 Acre Road Marrero, LA on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Albert Mickel, officiating; Pastor Gilbert Barnes, host pastor Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
