Joe “Daddy Long Legs” Andrew Robinson peacefully entered into eternal rest at Ochsner Medical Center Westbank on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at the age of 80. He was a native of Utica, MS and a resident of Marrero, LA. Beloved husband of Lillian L. Robinson. Loving father of Barnedette (Renard) Joseph, Marshall (Janet) Robinson, Lonnie Robinson and the late Julia Robinson. Grandfather of Charles, Jr. and Julia Williams, Courtney, Damon, Kimberly and Darius Robinson. Son of the late Emma G. Shears and Marshall Robinson. Brother of Rubynell Shears, Roger Shears, Billy Shears, Anette Franklin, Lucille Pringle and the late Eddie L. Myles, Gertrude Chillis and Sam Neal; also survived by 5 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Little Zion Baptist Church #3 and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Little Zion Baptist Church #3, 441 Wilson St. Marrero, LA on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Norman D. Smith III, officiating

Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
