Glen Joseph West, Jr.

Glen Joseph West, Jr. entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 18, 2016 at Ochsner Medical Center Main Campus at the age of 49. He was a native of Bridge City, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Glen was employed in security with Boomtown Casino. Loving son of Glen Joseph West, Sr. and Geraldine S. West. Grandson of the late Matthew and Rebecca West and Walter, Sr. and Gertrude Sylvester. Brother of Byron (Karmyn), Steven (Tiayannia) West of Killen, TX, and Gertrude West (the late Tony) Khumalo of Atlanta, GA. Uncle of Jasmine Washington, Sanaa West, Krystle Sterling, Stephon West, James Hampton, and Dantrell Sterling. Great uncle of Kaynyliah and Kaymahrya Sterling; also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Greater Mount Calvary Church and all neighboring churches; employees of Boomtown Casino are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Greater Mount Calvary Church, 1600 Westwood Dr. Marrero, LA on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 10:00a.m.
