Clarence Douglas, Sr.

Clarence Douglas, Sr. passed away at Ochsner Medical Center Westbank on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at the age of 68. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. Loving husband of 51 years to Evelyn Douglas. Devoted father of Samantha Douglas, Denise Phelps, Clarence Douglas, Jr., Kim Douglas, Eric Douglas, Jason Douglas, Shannon Douglas and the late Timothy Douglas. Son of the late Ashbury and Ruth Douglas; also survived by 27 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Love and Faith Baptist Church, Rock of Ages Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Rock of Ages Baptist Church, 6533 Acre Rd. Marrero, LA on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 10:00a.m. Pastor David Davis, officiating, Pastor Gilbert Barnes, host pastor Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
