Bonita Ann Washington

Bonita Ann Washington departed this life at West Jefferson Medical Center on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at the age of 54. She was a native of Independence, LA and a resident of Algiers, LA. Devoted mother of Darrius Washington, Omecca Washington, and Lewis Washington. Grandmother of Reshain Banks. Daughter of the late Willie Ponder and Lillie Mae Washington. Granddaughter of the late Willie and Lola Washington. Sister of Depp Ponder, Willie Ponder, Jr., and Stephanie Lee, also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.  Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Christian Life Bible Church and neighboring churches; members of Women of Ephraim Ministry are invited to attend the funeral service at Christian Life Bible Church 16 Westbank Expressway Gretna, LA on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 10:00a.m.  Rev. Adam Richardson officiating Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church. Interment: Hope Cemetery-Kentwood, LA
