Russell J Falkins

Russell J. Falkins entered into eternal rest at West Jefferson Medical Center on Sunday, February 7, 2016 at the age of 86. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a former resident of Bridge City, LA and presently residing in Marrero, LA. Russell was a former cook at Bridge Circle Inn. Beloved son of the late James Falkins, Sr. and Stella H. Falkins. Devoted father of Talama G. Lewis, Dwayne Sims, and Larry Sims. Loving brother of James Falkins, Jr. James Major, Valerie Sims and the late Joseph Falkins, Lionel Falkins, Jim Falkins and Christina Stevenson; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at 10:00a.m.

Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.

Interment: Woodlawn Park Memorial Cemetery-Westwego, LA
