Darryl Wayne Irvin

Darryl Wayne Irvin departed this life on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at University Medical Center at the age of 61. He was a native of Gretna, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Darryl was a self employed tax preparer. Loving father of Barbara Jean Morris, Erica Irvin and the late Darryl Wayne Irvin, Jr. Son of the late Alvin Irvin, Jr. and Harriet Francois Irvin. Brother of Darrin K. Irvin, Deborah A. (Joseph) Humphrey, Rhonda F. (Willis) Clofer, Lillian G. Williams, Sharon L. Irvin, Karen D. Irvin, Jordella Robertson and Kim M. Roy; also survived by 3 grandchildren, 2 uncles, 1 aunt, a beloved cousin Beverly, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of St. Joseph Missionary Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at St. Joseph Missionary Baptist Church, 236 Robinson Ave. Marrero, LA on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Melvin C. Zeno, officiating

Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.

Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery-Avondale, LA
