David Lewis Bingham, Sr

David Lewis Bingham Sr., age 71, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, February 21, 2016 at Ochsner Baptist Medical Center. He was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. David was a retired employee of Compass Furniture, where he worked as a delivery truck driver. Husband of Litena Jones-Bingham. Loving father of Kimvette, Annette, David, David, Jr. and Brian Bingham, Jeannette Bingham-Brown and Aaron Wilson. Stepfather of Felicity Buie, Akai Vander and Taylor McCoy. Son of the late Rosie H. Combs. Brother of Enoch Combs, Elijah Bingham, Jim Young, Evelyn Houston, Doretha Pollard and the late Irene Davis, Corine Lewis, and James Combs, Sr. Devoted uncle and friend of McKinley Pollard. Devoted friend of Mary Thompson; also survived by 25 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Donald Williams, officiating  Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named parlor. Interment: Woodlawn Park Memorial Cemetery-Westwego, LA
