Lloyd Stewart went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 29, 2016 at West Jefferson Medical Center at the age of 58. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Beloved husband of Valerie Stewart. Loving father of Lucretia Johnson, Maurice Junior, Sr., Najeira Stewart, Xavier Stewart, Jamilla Junior and Norman Alexander, Jr. Grandfather of Keymon, Nyshae’, Sha’Mura, Maurice, Jr., Issacc, and Norman III. Son of the late Elsie Stewart Jones and Aron Ray Jones. Brother of Dolly Stewart Coleman, Eddie Hogan of Seattle, WA, Ernest Ray Jones, Robert Earl Jones both of Baton Rouge, LA, Freddie Jones, Daniel Stewart, Nickie Stewart and the late Brenette Stewart. Best friend of Marvin Chaney; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Friday, March 11, 2016 at 10:00a.m. Rev. Michael Austin, officiating Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.
