Althea Jones Washington

Althea Janice Washington entered into eternal rest at Ochsner Medical Center Westbank on Thursday, March 17, 2015. She was a retired employee of Department of Children and Family Services.

Wife of the late Thomas Washington. Mother of the late Clifford Washington. Grandmother of Shauntell Washington and Jessica Washington. Great grandmother of Skylar Fields.Daughter of the late Willie Clifford Jones, Sr. and Augustine Jones. Granddaughter of the late Joseph and Rachel Bazile, Issiah and Mary Jones. Sister of the late Willie Jones, Jr. and Latrice Jones Taylor, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Age: 77 years a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service at Davis Mortuary Service 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 10:00a.m.

Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. at the above named parlor.

Interment: Woodlawn Park Memorial Cemetery-Westwego, LA
