Zenobia Gales Washington

Zenobia Gales Washington, a homemaker, entered into eternal rest on Friday, April 22, 2016 at West Jefferson Medical Center at the age of 80. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Avondale, LA. Loving wife of the late Osborne Washington, Sr.  Devoted mother of Osborne Washington, Jr., Kennie Washington, Carol Washington and the late Calvin “Rinny” Washington. Grandmother of Morris (Kristina) Harris, Tyrone Washington, Stanford Washington, Jabarre Mitchell, Chase Rousell, Erin Washington, Anniska Mitchell, Christopher Mitchell, Ivory Washington, Robert (Jovan) Washington, Courtney Scott, Rashad Wilson, Rinyota W., Latoya Washington, Radeta Wilson, Tasha Rousell and the late Leslie Washington. Daughter of the late Leona Jenkins and Willie Gales. Sister of Warren Jenkins, Rita Mae Jenkins, Helene Jenkins, Harold (Darlene) Evans and Sheila Evans Jenkins; also survived by 23 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Ephesus Missionary Baptist Church and al neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Ephesus Missionary Baptist Church, 831 Wayne Ave. Westwego, LA on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 10:00a.m.
