Altravia Demerice Anderson

Altravia “Neety Red” Demetrice Anderson departed this life on Monday, April 25, 2016 at the age 41. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and resident of Waggaman, LA. Altravia was a graduate of O. Perry Walker High School and a former employee of Cytec Industries.  Beloved wife of Keith Rivers. Devoted mother of Sierra and Tierra Anderson, Ja’Mya and DaKarai Wilson. Loving daughter of Carol Anderson Bartley and the late Clarence Green. Stepdaughter of Robert Bartley. Granddaughter of the late Lucy Salvant, Helen Beloney, and Eddie “E.J.” Jenkins. Sister of Oscar Kelly, Kevin (Tonette) Anderson, Walter Tyrone (Jennifer) Anderson, Pamela Denice (Brandon) Anderson and the late Clarence “Bo-Leg” Salvant; also survived by a host of aunt, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.  Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Greater Providence Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Greater Providence Baptist Church, 623 Newton St. Algiers, LA on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above name church.
