Eddie Joseph Saul, Sr., age 96, passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2016. He was a native of Vacherie, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Eddie served his country as a member of the United Stated Navy and was a retired Grain Elevator Operator. Devoted husband of 70 years to the late Marina Steib Saul, who preceded him in death on April 13, 2016. Loving father of Elward Saul, Betty S. (Michael) Broyard, Mammie S. Washington, Carol S. (Donald) Warmington, Marie Denise (Jackie) Walters, Eddie (Lorie) Saul, Jr., Philip (Lynn) Saul, Fulton Saul, and Anita S. (Wayne) Turner. Son of the late Edward, Sr. and Louise Philip Saul. Brother of Joseph R. Saul, Edward Saul, Jr., Ethel Joseph, and the late Edith Bartholomew, Edna Celestin, Arthur Saul, Etienne Saul, Elmond Saul, Sr., and Harry Saul; also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
