Orelia Henry Anderson

Orelia Henry Anderson departed this life on Saturday, May 7, 2016.   Wife of the late Elton Anderson, Sr. Beloved mother of Elton, Jr. (Delores), Bernell (Gail) and Robert (Cynthia) Anderson, and Gay Henderson. She also reared her sister Geraldine H. (Charles) Robinson and her niece Valicia Henry. Daughter of the late Robert, Sr. and Stella Johnson Henry. Sister of Nancy Glenn, Stella Jimicoly, Augustine Cook, Willa Mae Green, Norma Hilliard, Janice (Mervin) Duplessis, and the late Bernice Noil, John, Rev. Robert, Jr., Wilbert, Joseph, Sr., Clarance, Sr., David, Sr., Kermit, Sr., Larry, and Louis Henry; also survived by 20 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.   Age: 88 years, a native and a lifelong resident of Algiers, LA. (Cutoff Community). Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Second Nazarine Baptist Church, Second Baptist Church, Asbury United Methodist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Second Nazarine Baptist Church, 3062 Boyd St. Algiers, LA on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 10:00a.m. Rev. Peter L. Crawford, officiating Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time.  Interment: Nazarine Cemetery-Algiers, LA
