Mildred Young Patterson

Mildred Rose Young Patterson entered into eternal rest on Sunday, May 15, 2016. She was a retired employee of Charity Hospital, where she worked as a nurse for over 20 years. Beloved mother of Nathaniel Patterson, Jr., Sonja P. Tate, Rodney Patterson, Karen Y. Jones, Lisa Patterson, Byron Stipe, Sr. and Detra P. Morris. Daughter of the late Oliver Young, Sr. and Cora Hayes. Sister of Olivia Keller and the late James Campbell, Sr., Oliver Young, Jr., and Geraldine Y. Parker. Mother in law of Ira Tate, Rina Stipe, Geraldine Patterson and the late Charles Morris, also survived by 18 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Age: 74 years, a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Westwego, LA.
