Celeste Jefferson Jackson, a homemaker, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at the age of 62. She was a native of Ferriday, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Beloved wife of Kenneth Jackson. Mother Kenneth W. Jackson, Sr. and LaTanya M. Jackson. Stepmother of Clifford and Matthew Nellon and Kenneth Christopher. Daughter of Celeste S. Jefferson and the late Douglas Jefferson, Sr. Granddaughter of the late Evans and Margaret Scott, Ike and Mollie Jefferson. Sister of Douglas Jefferson, Jr., Rosalie Scott, and the late Mollie McElveen and Julie Jefferson. Godmother of Aniya Simeon, also survived by 9 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Mt. Olive Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Mt. Olive Baptist Church 1701 Estalote Ave. Marrero, La. on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 10:00a.m.
