Cora L. Smith, a domestic worker, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at Canon Hospice.

Mother of Benedict Smith, Sr. and Bernadette Givens. Daughter of the late Victor Smith and Odessa Samuel. Sister of Victor Smith, Jr., Alice Smith Brinston, Adrienne Phelps, and the late Clarence Smith, Alvin Smith, and Gertrude Smith, also survived by 3 grandchildren, 12 great grand children and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Age: 80 years a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service at Davis Mortuary Service 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. at the above parlor. Interment: St. Mary Cemetery- New Orleans, LA.
