Willie Mae Hills Stamps departed this earthly life to be with her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at West Jefferson Medical Center.

Wife of the late Ulysses Stamps, Sr. Beloved mother of John (Rose) Davis, Ulysses (Cheryl) Stamps, Jr., Albert (Jennifer) Stamps, Sr., and the late Robert Stamps and Floyd Torey. Daughter of the late Will and Mattie Hills. Sister of Mary Lee Taylor. Lifelong friend of Castanna Washington. Preceded in death by 1 grandson, also survived 19 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.

Age: 87 years a native of Meridian, MS and a resident of Harvey, LA

Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of St. Rock Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the St. Rock Baptist Church 2300 Rochelle Ave. Harvey, LA on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at 10:00a.m.

Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church.
