George Octave Gougisha

George Octa´ve Gougisha, a retired fork lift driver, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at his residence. Beloved husband of Mabel M. Gougisha. Devoted father of Marion G. Marshall, Debra G. Smith, and Sandra G. (Leonard) Morris. Son of the late Octave and Marguerite Gougisha. Brother of Pearl Adams. Preceded in death by 1 grandson, 4 brothers, 3 sisters, 1 brother in law, 3 sisters in law, also survived by 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family also priest and parishioners of Our Lady of Prompt Succor and neighboring churches are invited to attend the mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Prompt Succor 531 Avenue A (146 Fourth St.) Westwego, LA on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 1:00p.m.

Visitation will begin at 11:00a.m. at the above named church.

Interment: Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery-Westwego, LA
