Louis Vernon Smith, a yard supervisor, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, May 28, 2016. He was Co-Founder of the men of Nehemiah of Dallas, TX. Beloved husband of Rachel Owens Smith. Son of the late Levi Smith, Sr. and Helen A. Smith. Grandson of the late Leontine Augustine Williams and Lloyd Williams. Brother of Levi, Sr., Brenda, Lenda, Rhenda, Flenda, Wenda, Shenda, Kenda, Quenda, Venda, Trenda and the late Glenda Channey and Zenda Smith.

Age: 47 years a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Dallas, TX.

Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and member of Fischer Community Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Fischer Community Church 1737 L B Landry Ave. Algiers, LA on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 10:00a.m.
