Andrew Lee Mathis departed this life on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at Marrero Healthcare. He was a retired pipefitter of Avondale Shipyard. Beloved son of the late Leandra Mathis and Dinnia Mathis. Grandson of the late Lizie Mathis. Loving brother of Raymond Mathis, RoseMary Turner, Ruthie Mathis, Darlene Mathis, and the late Robert Mathis, Ray Charles Mathis, Shirley Foxworth and Catherine Haynes; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Age: 68 years, a native of Westpoint, MS and a resident of Harvey, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Friday, June 10, 2016 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.
