Valerie Mary Sims entered into eternal rest at residence on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 5:30a.m.

Wife of the late Eddie Sims, Jr. Beloved mother of Justina Thomas, Gloria Jacobs, Larry Sims, Joseph Sims, Dwayne Sims, and the late Floyd Falkins, Clarence Falkins, and Trina Lewis. Daughter of the late James, Sr. and Stella Harvey Falkins. Sister of the late Joseph Falkins, Lionell Falkins, James Falkins, Russell Falkins, and Christiana Stevenson, also survived by 23 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Age: 85 years a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA

Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Nineveh Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Davis Mortuary Service 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 10:00a.m.

Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above name named parlor.

Interment: Woodlawn Park Memorial Cemetery-Westwego, LA
