Theodore R. Nelson, Jr. a retired chef, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at his residence.

Beloved husband of Jimmie Lee McCray Nelson. Devoted father of Jeannie Nelson, Coy (Michelle) Dorsey, and the late Raymond Nelson and Theodore R. Nelson, III. Grandfather of Madison Dorsey. Son of the late Theodore “Sam” Nelson, Sr. and Clarita Duplessis Nelson. Grandson of the late Theodore and Victoria Nelson, Edward and Edna Jones. Brother of Brenda, Clarita, Charmaine, Gladys, Joretta, and the late Wesley Nelson.

Age: 68 years a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Regular Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Regular Baptist Church 901 5th St. Gretna, LA on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 10:00a.m.

Visitation will begin at 9:00am at the above named church.
