Larry Jones entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 20, 2016 at The Sanctuary at Passages Hospice. Loving father of Bobby Jones and Brandy Jones. Son of the late Jerry, Sr. and Mable Jones. Grandson of the late Louvenia Joseph. Brother of Nothern, Jerry, Jr., Timothy, Jesse and Mark Jones, Audrey Lewis, Lucille Every, Princess Knight, and the late Bobby Jones and Irma Jones. Uncle of the late Melvin Lewis, Jr., and Jerry Michael Jones. Great uncle of the late Kent Mayfield, Ryan Jones and KieShon Every. Brother-in-law of the late Melvin Lewis, Sr. and Robin M. Jones; also survived by 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Age: 66 years, a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at 10:00a.m. Bishop J. D. Wiley Taylor, officiating

Visitation will being at 8:30a.m. until service time at the parlor.
