Joseph “Joe” Bennett, Jr. departed his life on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at University Medical Center. He was employed as a mechanic for Barriere Construction Company. Loving father of Johnny and Jessica Bennett and the late Joseph Bennett, III. Beloved son of Joseph Bennett, Sr. and Jessie T. Bennett. Brother of Mable Lee Turner, Andre, Andrea, Kirk and Sandra Bennett; also survived by 1 grandchild and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Age: 54 years, a native and resident of New Orleans, LA

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 230 MONROE ST. GRETNA, LA on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at 10:00a.m.

Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time.

Interment: Cedar Rest Cemetery-Woodville, MS
