Errol Gant, Jr. departed this life on Sunday, June 26, 2016. Son of Joyce Wilson and the late Errol Gant, Sr. Father of Monae Young. Brother of Eric, Sr., Errol, and the late Latasha and Aaron Gant. Uncle of De’Onate, Eric, Jr., Jahron, Ariel, Savannah and Aaron Gant, and Phillip Hankerson, Jr. Grandson of Samuel Gant, Sr. and the late Alberta Gant, Willie Mae Wilson and Ernest Davis. Nephew of Timothy May, Alvin (Lana), Brenda, Samuel, Jr., Leslie and Verna Gant, Rosalie Mosley, Lydia (Royal) Phoenix, Annette (Leonard) Green, Jessica (Horace) Douglas, Antoinette (the late Michael) Jackson, and the late Jacqueline May, Willie Mae Draughn, Christopher and Albert Davis. Great nephew of Louis Davis, Sr., Isiah and Moses Riley, Classie Washington, Vivian Ellison and Virginia (Willie) McCall. Godson of Mercedes Noil and the late Rene Ross; also survived by a host of cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Second Baptist Church, Second Nazarine Baptist Church, Asbury United Methodist Church and all neighboring churches; employees of Metropolitan Developmental Centers, and Carlie Care Kids are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 230 MONROE ST.
